To help avoid delays, begin the process as soon as the Bill of Lading (BL) is available. The document requirements and key country-specific points are outlined below.

Bill of Lading

For LCL shipments submitted with a House Bill of Lading (HBL), the Master Bill of Lading (MBL) may also be requested when necessary.

Commercial Invoice

• The commercial invoice must name the final consignee in the destination country.
• The applicable Incoterm must be clearly shown, together with a corresponding breakdown of values.

For example, where the Incoterm is CFR, the FOB and freight values should be stated separately. Values must be stated in EUR or USD; amounts in other currencies will be converted.

Freight Invoice

If freight is not shown on the commercial invoice, a separate freight invoice must be provided. Values must be stated in EUR or USD; amounts in other currencies will be converted.

Certificate of Origin

Critical notes

• Amendments requested after certificate validation are subject to an amendment fee.
• For tariffs covering non-containerized shipments (RoRo, general cargo, or bulk), please contact our support team.

One ACD certificate is issued electronically for each BL, and the ACD number is issued along with the validated certificate.
