Egypt ACID Regulation Guide

To help avoid delays, begin the process as soon as the Bill of Lading (BL) is available. The document requirements and key country-specific points are outlined below. For first-time ACID registration, you need to provide the following company information (with official supporting documents):

• Person Name and Surname
• Email
• Phone number
• Company name and Address (Country, City, and Zip Code details)
• Website
• Tax Number ( VAT Number)
• National Company Registration Number

Here is the list of required documents (standard document list — it may vary depending on your importer’s request) after obtaining the ACID.

• Bill of Lading
• Commercial Invoice
• Certificate of Origin
• Packing List

One ACID certificate is issued electronically for each BL, and the ACID number is issued along with the draft.
