Sudan ACD – New Documentation Requirement

This notice is to inform you of a recent update issued by the Sudan Customs Authority concerning the Advance Cargo Declaration (ACD).

The Certificate of Origin is now required as part of the ACD application. This document must be submitted together with the standard ACD documentation set.

Documents required for ACD submission:

• Draft Bill of Lading
• Commercial Invoice
• Freight Invoice
• Certificate of Origin

Please be reminded that ACD certification will become compulsory for all Sudan-bound shipments effective 1 January 2026. Shipments not compliant with the above requirements may be subject to clearance delays or rejection.
