We would like to inform you that Djiboutian customs authorities have implemented a penalty for shipments arriving without an ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note).

As of June 15, 2023, the ECTN is mandatory for all cargo discharged in Djibouti. Failure to comply now results in fines as well as clearance delays.

We advise initiating the ECTN process at least five days prior to vessel departure to ensure compliance and avoid complications.
