For any cargo destined for CHAD, the shipper or his agent is obliged to establish and have approved by the Council of Chargers of Chad an electronic cargo tracking note (Article 2 of Joint Order No. 039 / PR / PM / MID / 2016 laying down the practical terms and conditions for the issue and management of Electronic Cargo Tracking Notes (ECTN).

ITR Logistics is the sole agent in Dubai responsible for the Middle East region.

To issue the BESC certificate for Chad, we need you to forward below documents;

  • Bill of lading
  • Commercial Invoice

Freight Invoice copies (Freight invoice is mandatory if the freight value is not mentioned in the commercial invoice.)

Notice: You may cancel the process anytime during the CTN Application.

All imports to and exports from the Republic of Chad must be registered under a valid Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (BESC) issued prior to shipment.

As of January 1, 2026, the issuance of a BESC after shipment—where no valid BESC was in place at the port of origin—will give rise to a penalty equal to 100% of the applicable BESC fee.

What Products are Banned from being Imported into Chad?

  • Animals and animal by-products from areas affected by epizootic diseases and plants from areas affected by epiphytic disease.
  • Some distilled beverages, pornography, and gambling machines
  • We do not provide ECTN certificates for any illegal product or equipment.
