Please be informed that the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) has announced a change in the ECTN Certificate issuance process for RORO vehicles, starting 1st May 2025.
What’s Changing?
Alongside the usual documents, shippers must now submit either:
- Proof of registration in the Importers/Exporters File (FIMEX)
OR
- A valid Special Import Authorization
We advise all partners shipping RORO vehicles to prepare the required document(s) in advance to ensure smooth processing.

Note:
- You can still start your ECTN application from the port of loading.
- However, the final authenticated ECTN will only be issued after providing the new required document.
- If you are not registered yet, you will still receive a draft ECTN until the required document is submitted.
We have been dedicated to providing service to global shippers and forwarders worldwide since 2012 and are ready to help you navigate these changes.
