Dakar, the Republic of Senegal, is an essential hub in Western Africa. Therefore, all shipments to Dakar, Senegal, require a BSC number on the bill of lading and have BSC validated.

Procedure

The below documents are required for the issuance of BSC

  • Bill of lading
  • Commercial invoice
  • Freight invoice
  • The importer’s e-mail address and phone number

What Products are Banned from being Imported into Senegal?

  • Animals and animal by-products from areas affected by epizootic diseases and plants from areas affected by epiphytic disease.
  • Some distilled beverages, pornography, and gambling machines
  • We do not provide ECTN certificates for any illegal product or equipment.
